Amylase is an enzyme that breaks down starch. Why can't the same enzyme break down cellulose?

The right answer is E - There is a different bond between adjacent monomers of glucose in cellulose than in starch. Human amylase can't break down cellulose; most herbivores have microorganisms in their intestines that assist them to break down cellulose.
