Name a middle of the road medium city or large town that has a good community college?

I said to myself today at work, do I want to repeat the last 8 years of my life in an evil banking city in the South and the answer was no so now I am getting serious about one day moving. I have 30,000 in the bank so money is not problem and work in the graphics industry. I want to go back to school as become a Medical Lab Technician or maybe possibly to finish a four degree to become a science or math teacher. Watching the Movie 187 made me think I could become a teacher being I'm a very pedantic person. So name some places for me to jot down and investigate, please.
