My ac in my altima 2002 is blowing hot air?

this morning it was working fine and when i got in the car after work and i turned on the ac it was blowing hot air, mind you it is about 95 degrees here in miami. i left it on for a while and nothing. my car was jot over heating or anything. is it a relay???
